We are currently seeking to fill a leadership position in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and acquiring new customers. Assuring maximum satisfaction of our internal and external customers by managing their expectations in order to achieve the objective of creating long-staying, loyal customers. Supervise and develop the Language Center staff. Will also be responsible for meeting performance and financial objectives of the language center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Customer Acquisition Activities
Conducts sales activities from initial inquiry through enrollment
Initiate and direct local marketing activities and promotional events
Foster an awareness of Berlitz within the community
Customer Retention Activities
Maintain positive customer relations and ensures maximum customer satisfaction from enrollment to renewal
Ensure the implementation of the Berlitz Learning Cycle
Maximize course completion and customer re-enrollment
Leadership
Motivate Language Center team to develop and maintain a customer focused attitude
Promotes open communication within the Language Center
Encourage and support staff development through training, coaching and feedback to enhance performance
Ensure the Language Center environment and appearance creates a positive impression
Participate in staff selection process
Ultimately responsible for all Language Center staff and operations
Contributes to the achievement of district/corporate initiatives and objectives
Performance and Financial Objectives
Accountable for achieving Language Center performance objectives and profitability
Analyze performance indicators and implement appropriate action plans to enhance results
Manage controllable expenses
Participate in the development of performance and financial plans
Responsible for the integrity of operational data and reports
Responsible for adhering to corporate policies and procedures
Upon completion of training, may be assigned to any of Berlitz US locations.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or two years relevant experience
One year sales experience in a premier environment
Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong leadership and motivational abilities
Understanding of accounting principles and techniques
Supervisory experience a plus
Full command of written and spoken English
International exposure a plus
Ability to travel (25%)
