Job Description

This job is located in Jackson, Wyoming.

You are expected to adhere to the company's mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company's management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. Receives, washes, dries, irons or otherwise prepares for delivery all dirty linen, towels, rugs and bedspreads. Laundry workers fill specific job positions on a rotating basis, such as Dryer Operator, Shaker Sorter, Ironer, Feeder and Catcher, load, unload dryers, etc.

You must be committed to superior guest service and quality standards. As a team member of your department you playa key role ensuring the team's success and achievement of meeting and exceeding our guests' expectations. Our goal is to receive a minimum of 88% On our guest comment scores.

Environmental

As part of this mission you are responsible for carrying out our core environmental values: promote renewable energy, reduction of waste, protection of wildlife habitat, and environmental education. You should strive to preserve, protect and inspire your team members and our guests to join in this effort.

Health and Safety

You are responsible for working in a safe and healthy manner. You must be knowledgeable of the company's work safe policies and procedures.

NPS / Community Relations

You must be committed to working in partnership with the National Park Service and community organizations to enhance our guests' experiences. Our goal is to receive only fours and fives on the five point rating scale used by NPS.

General­

I.  Places wet towels, rugs, bedspreads in dryer and sorts and folds when dry.

1. Separates clean linen and prepares material for the flatwork ironer.
2.  Attends the flatwork ironer and feeds prepared work in, or catches, folds and stacks work on the receiving side.
3. Presses uniforms and other items as needed.
4. Performs other laundry tasks as needed.
5. Performs other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time and to perform moderately strenuous tasks including lifting up to 50 Ibs.

• Good judgment, manual dexterity.
• Quality conscious.
• Prior laundry experience desirable, but not necessary.

UNIFORM REQUIREMENT

Appropriate attire and closed-toe footwear to be provided by the employee. Tom, unhemmed, or soiled clothing is considered inappropriate. Loose fitting clothing or jewelry is not recommended.
