Job Description
Litigation Legal Assistant
Prestigious law firm in Boca Raton needs an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant
The responsibilities and duties of this position are as follows:
- Answer phones.
- Open new client matters.
- Provide litigation support in a high volume, deadline atmosphere.
- Coordinate and schedule hearings, mediations and depositions.
- Arrange for process servers and couriers.
- Transcribe correspondence and legal documents accurately.
- Maintain calendars (i.e. input discovery deadlines, court hearings, depositions) and appointments.
- Enter billing and time entries.
Our ideal candidate will possess a solid litigation background,
be proficient in Word Perfect, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
be detail oriented and capable of prioritizing.

Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent (College Degree, CLA and/or Paralegal Certificate is preferred)
- Legal Experience – Minimum 8 years solid experience working as a Litigation Legal Assistant, Secretary or Paralegal in Florida Law Firm.
- Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner.
- PC proficiency in Word Perfect, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Juris experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing .
- Ability to work both independently and contribute in every aspect to a team environment
