Job Description

This person is a key manager of a growing community bank contributing to the administration of the loan operations area.  This position will focus on leading and managing the loan operations function for all branch offices and report directly to the Director of Operations.  Accountabilities include:

·         Management  of the loan operations personnel for centralized loan document preparation

·         Supports, coaches and mentors Loan Operations Staff

·         Responsible for Loan compliance, including research and clarification, implementation of regulatory changes, training material, and loan monitoring for compliance

·         Loan participation management, escrow, credit bureau reporting, government reporting

·         Loan related products/functions of the core processing system and its ancillary systems

·         Responsible for overall quality of the commercial, agricultural, mortgage and consumer credit files

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent  work experience
- Five years of loan operations experience
- Management experience is a must!

-Loan Servicing activities including escrow, participation and credit reporting

Preferred Skills/Experience

·         Strong knowledge of bank loan operations.

·         Ability to work independently, lead a team and use sound judgment.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

·         Ability to lead groups of personnel and deal effectively with peers, subordinates and superiors in sensitive and sometimes controversial situations.

·         Excellent leadership skills, including strong coaching skills

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills.

·         Self initiative in pursuing developmental opportunities.

·         High computer literacy including Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.

·         High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.

·         Ability to meet individual goals along with the ability to contribute in a team oriented environment to ensure departmental and bank wide goals are met.

Salary

$50,000 to $75,000 depending on experience
