Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS(COMPETENCIES):
�Liaison to MHE vendors as it relates to data handling. �Work with all intelligent devices including A-frame, Vertical Shuttles, Sortation Control Systems, Pick to Light. �Coordinate all data backups and data recovery procedures. �Liaison between warehouse facility, WMS vendor and MIS Department for problem resolution. �Support of all data processing hardware including printers and terminals. �Total support of LAN (Local Area Network) configuration. �Implementation of all future releases of software �Coordinate inventory tracking of in stock supplies including forms, ribbons, etc. and report usage to MIS. �Supervise 3-10 non-exempt staff. �Maintenance of all control tables within the WMS including access security. �Monitor the performance of the system application to ensure it is ready and available to all end users. �Manage the peripheral interfaces with the WMS such as Neoware Terminals, RF Devices, and Printers. �Manage and monitor end user access and rights and report to the SOX Compliance Department on a quarterly basis. �Develop reporting tools for users to have better visibility into the WMS and Operating Metrics, whether via Crystal Reports or Cognos Report Studio.
Job Requirements
�Must be able to function in a team environment. �BA/BS in Computer Science or other related technical field a plus but not required. �2 to 3 years of proven technical and analytical experience with a production related industry. �Solid working knowledge of all MS Operating Systems and MS Office applications. �Solid working knowledge of Unix AIX and Unix SCO. �Understand the requirements in writing SQL statements in Oracle. �Excellent writing skills, computer and application skills. �Strong presentation, analytical, and project management skills.
