WELLNESS NURSE

LPN

JACKSONVILLE, NC

Job Description:

• Manages and implements all services as they relate to the physical, social, emotional and spiritual wellness of each resident in the Assisted Care area.
• Promotes good public relations and promotes a caring attitude with medical professionals, family members, and friends of the residents.
• Coordinates and develops all services required by the resident’s care plan.
• Communicates with the Administrator with regard to the training of new care staff members, and the status of residents.
• Communicates with family members regarding all facets of services rendered to the residents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

·         Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of North Carolina.

·         Must be able to be certified as a Supervisor-in-Charge as required by the Division of Facility Services of North Carolina.

·         Must be willing to work as a charge nurse and as needed during emergencies to assure adequate coverage.

·         Must provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.

·         Must be CPR certified yearly.

·         Must attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
