For nearly 25 years, Inlet Petroleum Company has supplied fuels, lubricants and related petroleum products to a wide array of industries and businesses. We are dedicated to great customer service, investing in our employees and an unwavering commitment to safety. We are looking to fill the position of Fleet Manager.

Job Functions
Responsible for the overall maintenance of trucks/equipment assuring they are mechanically sound, safe to operate, and visually presentable.

Assure all equipment is maintained in accordance with company, DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other government regulatory agencies, including required reporting and paperwork.

Work with Operations Manager and Dispatch to coordinate unit repair and preventative maintenance needs.

Perform light maintenance and contract out additional maintenance as necessary.

Provide training to new and existing employees on operational safety programs, how to properly operate and maintain equipment, and other areas as necessary.

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and third-party maintenance providers.

Receives and resolves equipment maintenance/ performance items associated with Fleet operations.

Key Knowledge and Experience
BS/BA degree preferred and/or 5+ years of experience in fleet management.

Class A CDL with (or the ability to obtain) Tanker Hazmat endorsements.

Experience with fuel tanker trucks and the hauling of hazmat preferred.

Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of regulations impacting daily operations (DOT, OSHA, DEC, and EPA regulations)
