Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
MHIS is seeking a coding auditor manager to oversee and perform coding reviews and audits for MHIS clients.
Adheres to all Maxim and worksite rules, policies and procedures.
May perform other duties as required, assigned or deemed necessary by Maxim and/or the facility/client/supervisor.

Job Requirements
The following credentials (or a combination) are required: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and Certified Coding Specialist – Physician (CCS-P).
Must have ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding experience
Knowledge of IP,OP, and ER coding specialties
Experience with APR-DRGs a plus
Knowledge of Physician Professional Coding a plus
Broad understanding of Official Coding Guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word software programs.
Ability to communicate effectively – both in writing and orally.
Three plus years prior auditing / consulting experience
