Successful "Green" company in NYC is seeking a Manager of Application Architecture needed for environmental company based in NYC. Candidate should have 10-15 years experience building and maintaining high-volume web sites.

This is a full-time opportunity. Please, no consultants, third party or H1 candidates. Local candidates preferred.

Ideal candidate would have a media/e-commerce background at a high volume web site and would have experience building teams at the cutting edge of web technologies.

Requirements:

5+ years leading a Development Team;
3+ years of Ruby/Ruby on Rails architecture/development skills;
Should come from a heavy traffic site preferably from a travel, e-Commerce or rewards company;
This is a hands-on role and you will be required to roll up your sleeves with your team;
Need a start-up mentality and be ready fore an ever changing fast paced environment.
