Job Description
Scope of responsibility includes all aspects of campaign planning and email strategy. Works closely with all brand teams to leverage the email channel for optimal sales, customer engagement and multi-channel reinforcement. Also, works with the Business Intelligence team to conduct the most optimal segmentation of the email file and develops testing strategies to further refine and validate the email strategy and segmentation.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for campaign planning and management with each store brand team.
· Provide leadership, strategy and vision for the email channel.
· Develops email which includes segmentation, cadence, sequencing and content targeting.
· Presents annual, quarterly and monthly email plan to the brand team.
· Leads efforts to maximize email file growth and quality.
· Maintains best practices for email hygiene and opt in standards.
· Work with brand managers and merchandising to leverage promotional calendar, events, and creative content.
· Develops testing strategies for template formats, subject lines and content presentation.
· Tests personalized elements to prioritize available content appropriately.
· Responsible for forecasting, expense tracking, file quality and file size.
· Reports on email performance to the brand teams.
· Manages Email Marketing Specialists.
· Ensure promotional messaging and creative consistency across advertising programs where appropriate.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
· Extensive online marketing experience, especially managing ROI-positive acquisition programs of significant value in a highly competitive market.
· Solid background in campaign optimization, performance management, and testing are essential.
· 5+ years experience in consumer internet and e-commerce.
· 2-3 years in a marketing leadership role.
· Excellent verbal, written, presentation and analytical skills.
· Innovated, curious and with strong problem solving skills.
· Results driven.
· Deep understanding of customer segmentation strategies in a direct marketing environment.
· Specific knowledge if email metrics and analysis.
· Up to date knowledge of email best practices and legislation.
· Strong organizational and management skills.
· Interest in music and experience working in music industry a plus.
