Classification: Full Time
Compensation: $120000 to $140000 per year
Location: Purchase, NY
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Information security department staff and activities to ensure effective use of resources. Perform necessary security reviews for SDLC and Change Management projects. Effectively monitor the security of the IT environment and network, and react to unauthorized activity. Collaborate with Apps Dev, IT Ops and Enterprise Architecture groups to ensure compliance with security requirements. Respond in a timely fashion to requests for information from internal and external auditors. Continuously review and look for ways to improve the effectiveness of the security environment. Establish and maintain a strategic view of the company's information security requirements. Build project plans with quantifiable objectives, costs and benefits that fill gaps in the strategy. Continuously assess the effectiveness of existing tools, and understand the available options.

Job Requirements
Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in related business or technical field CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) 5 years of systems and systems security design experience. Familiar with state-of-the-art information and network security technology. Major systems development and implementation experience. Understand project management and control. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical executives. Ability to effectively work with people in other departments and/or outside of the enterprise
