Job Description
Our client, an international technology firm is currently searching for a Payroll Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Management of day-to-day payroll operations
• Coordinate with financial staff and Human Resources; supervise one staff
• Process Semi-Monthly payroll for US and foreign employees.
• Reviewing and verifying payroll data in a timely manner.
• Initiating 401K wires with online interface.
• Weekly reporting to third party benefit administrator.
• Acting as liaison with ADP.
• Promptly responding to inquiries from employees/outside agencies.
• Manage and implement process improvements within the department/SOXA compliance.
• Special projects as required and other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Requirements
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree
*Certified Payroll Professional certification required
Requirements:
• Candidates must be familiar with multi state wage and hour laws, taxes, deductions, quarterly and year end financial procedures, and bank reconciliation practices.
• Should be familiar with both American and Canadian payroll as well as hourly and salary payroll and be able to translate this knowledge across multiple companies and locations.
• ADP PCPW, ADP Report Smith, Excel and Oracle are required.
