Job Description
MANAGER OF PURCHASING
Local company seeks a seasoned purchasing professional to be responsible for procurement and logistics for all operations, including sourcing decisions, import processing, and management of inventory levels to support sales. Must be able to develop and train subordinates in all purchasing and ERP areas and manage the purchasing department in accordance with all ISO-9001 policies and procedures. Knowledge of freight forwarding, brokerage services, international sourcing, and containerized shipment management is required. This is a "make-it-happen" position requiring a self-starter and excellent communication skills. Prior experience with MRP/ERP packages (J. D. Edwards a plus) and a minimum of 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment is required. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. No phone calls.
