Job Description
This position will be based where PAH headquarters is based.
Plan, direct and manage all CLAR market research projects and activities related to strategic decision making and business operations for Pfizer Animal Health, including the design, analysis, and reporting of actionable recommendations. CLAR is one of the fastest growing regions for Pfizer Animal Health in both Companion Animal and Livestock with a number of new product launches planned over the next few years.
Work closely with CLAR business partners and GMR colleagues to provide expert insight and consultation regarding current products, market and competitive landscapes to allow the implementation of strategies to generate above market growth. Focus on key growth drivers in major markets (includes developing markets like Mexico and Argentina and more developed markets like Canada and Brazil).
This position is located in Madison, NJ, and will report to Group Director, Pfizer Animal Health, Global Marketing Research. The position will include up to 33% travel.
Responsibilities include:
Organizing qualitative and quantitative market research for the CLAR Region Market preparation and testing for new product launches and tracking of existing products Secondary data reporting and sourcing for Pfizer, Key Competitors and the Industry In-line brand support for Companion Animal and Livestock (e.g., Cattle & Swine) Co-ordinate, collaborate and work closely with the rest of the Global Market Research Team located in Paris and New York and Global Poultry team in North Carolina.

Job Requirements
EDUCATIONAL: Preferred degree is MBA with marketing or market research focus complimented with a strong analytical or marketing foundation. Bachelors Degree with emphasis in marketing or market research with strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills. Experience in Animal Health and experience working in the Latin America region is highly desirable.
PROFESSIONAL: 5 years in related sales, marketing or market research experience required (which should include a minimum of 3 years in market research and expertise in common primary and secondary data methodologies and techniques). Animal Health, Agricultural or Pharmaceutical industry experience is highly desired. Knowledge and understanding of Latin America and Canada markets is also highly desired.
Incumbent should have strong analytical skills, marketing orientation, computer skills, and the ability to communicate effectively through written documents and oral presentations. Enterprising with out-of-box thinking and being able to provide creative value add even with limited resources and budgets.
Proficiency in English and Spanish or Portugese is desired.
