Job Description
Master Planner/Scheduler This position is responsible for developing and managing program plans and schedules from proposal thru execution. Candidate will design, build and maintain Integrated Master Plans (IMPs), Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs), first article, program summary and detail schedules. Applicant interfaces with Program Managers, IPT leads and team members, as well as business management and the customer, to ensure the IMP/IMS are fully integrated with the WBS, SOW, SOOs, CDRLs and Risks. Additional responsibilities include: critical path analysis, schedule risk modeling, assessment and analysis, status compilation for specific WBS/Products within the IMP/IMS, project and EV performance, schedule configuration control, schedule data and metric analysis and reporting. Applicant must be able to function in a dynamic organization, communicate within a team environment, and be able to facilitate and lead integration or status meetings. The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written skills necessary to successfully communicate and manage customers' expectations. Interactive and static presentations to senior management and customers may be required. The candidate must also be capable of performing work under minimal direction, assist in establishing objectives, and be able to plan and schedule activities to accomplish objectives. Additional work assignments not covered above may be required.
Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 12 years related experience in: acquisition planning, earned value management, engineering/ operations planning and/or program master planning and scheduling. Advanced knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera, as well as Risk+, @Risk or Pertmaster. Proficiency in standard MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point). Solid understanding of CPM modeling, risk modeling and simulations, earned value concepts and integrated cost/schedule management. Travel up to 25% may be required. Active DoD Secret Security Clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Thorough knowledge of DoD EVM, IMP and IMS guidelines and requirements. Experience with resource loaded schedules. Working knowledge of Microframe Program Manager (MPM), SAP, wInsight, Access, Pertchart Expert, Milestones Professional, Visio and other schedule/planning tools.
