Successful candidates will identify component and raw material requirements for production from engineering, production specifications and schedules. Review and analyzes buy signals to release requirements to procurement. Document and provides engineering/planning change commitments through review of engineering documentation, inventory analysis and supplier lead times. Represent supply chain at engineering change board meetings. Perform obsolete inventory analysis and coordinate with various supports functions to bring inventory through disposition.
Will coordinate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and engineering personnel to ensure appropriate scheduling, procurement, and movement of materials
The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least six years of Material Planning and Control experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable working in a very face paced environment with many material changes. Experience in an Aircraft Manufacturing environment is preferred.
