MDS Coordinator 

Essential Functions of MDS Coordinator :

• As an MDS Coordinator you will be responsible for directing and developing transmissions of resident assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements. 

• Other responsibilities will include acting as a resident and family advocate and coordinating the delivery of quality services to residents and families.

Job Requirements

Qualifications of MDS Coordinator

The ideal candidate for MDS Coordinator / Assistant Director of Nursing should have the following requirements:

• 1+ years experience as MDS Coordinator in Skilled Nursing
• Current LVN or RN w/ TX license
• Must possess experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehab based facility.
• Experience with electronic medical charting
• AANAC certification is a plus
• Effective written/verbal communication and management skills.
