Job Description
Min Qualifications
MRT program graduate or equivalent with 1 year of related experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To provide specialized technical skills and diversified clerical duties associated with medical record procedures.
Work Schedule
Possible rotating schedule between days and evenings.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Specific Job Related Duties
Codes diagnosis and surgical procedures.
Processes requests for release of confidential information.
Analyzes records for completeness and accuracy.
Performs diversified clerical duties associated with medical record procedures.
Supervises employees in a designated area.
Adheres to internal controls established for department.
Performs related duties as required.
Preferred License/Certificate
Preferred candidate to be a licensed coder,.
