We are currently seeking aSocial Media Marketing & Advocacy Manager. Preferred location for this position is San Antonio, TX.
Position Summary
The Social Media Marketing & Customer Advocacy Manager executes social media strategies, developing specific methods to generate awareness, engagement, and e-commerce conversion through social media. Nurtures and manages interactive buzz on social media such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube and branded communities to generate positive exposure. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic social marketing expert, a superior creative copywriter, with a customer service background and someone who has successfully demonstrated ''buzz generation'' employing social media marketing tactics.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Essential duties are identified by asterisks. Execute social media strategy for a new service offered via Facebook and potentially other social media
Provide customer service and support by proactively interacting in social media
Be passionately in tune with latest social media developments, on-line behavior and trends
Identify opportunities to drive revenue by fully leveraging capabilities of social media platforms
Author creative messaging and/or copywriting for social media communications
Devise and implement appropriate campaigns for social media
Define test plan, and track performance of campaigns
Provide regular reports to stakeholders on campaigns and social media metrics
Use knowledge gained through analysis to provide insight on forecasting, budgeting and social media marketing direction
Education & Knowledge Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Marketing required. Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent preferred.
Experience / Skills / Abilities Required
5+ years experience in digital marketing, including 3+ years in social media for leading agency or top brand company
Recent experience executing a Facebook marketing strategy for major brand(s)
Familiar with all major forms of social media and has actively cultivated his/her own network on at least one of the social media sites
Experience creating and managing viral / WOM marketing campaigns
Excellent presentation and writing skills, including creative copywriting
Analytically strong with proven ability to demonstrate data interpretation
Basic understanding of SEO and SEM
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Strong interpersonal and consulting skills
Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment
Supervisory Responsibility
Will manage a team of professionals.
Communication & Contacts Required
This individual has contact with various employees within the organization up to C level.
Decision Making
Position requires above average problem solving skills and independent judgment
