Experienced and Entry Level Microbiologists
Kelly Scientific is currently working with a large pharmaceutical company located in the West Palm Beach area that is in need of an experienced and an entry level Microbiologist for temp-to-hire opportunities. Both positions are 2nd shift, 11am to 7:30pm
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the QC Microbiology Supervisor, these positions are responsible for microbiological method validations, finished product and raw material testing, culture maintenance, equipment qualifications, and Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing for finished products, using lab instrumentation in compliance with cGMP guidelines. This position is also responsible for creating and revising test methods and SOPs, reviewing and carrying out validation protocols.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE -BS degree in Microbiology required -(Experienced Microbiologist) Minimum Five years experience in an FDA regulated Microbiology Lab -(Entry Level Micro) BS degree in life science with at least 1yr of experience in FDA regulated laboratory -Knowledge of SOPs, cGMPs, FDA regulations. -Ability to read, write, communicate and follow instructions (verbal and written) in English is required.
