Position Description: The Executive Wealth Solutions Advisor (EWSA) is a member of the Executive Wealth Advisory Services (EWAS) team and reports directly or indirectly to the Managing Director, Executive Financial Services (EFS). Responsibilities of the position include assisting Financial Advisors to develop and retain client relationships with corporate executives and holders of concentrated equity positions and supporting all efforts that drive revenue and asset growth. The EWSA is responsible for platform design, process and implementation with a focus on leveraging the existing wealth management platform and targeting services to the corporate executive client segment. This includes coordinating business development efforts, developing knowledge center material, being a go-to resource for FAs, participation in client meetings, CDMs/VIPs and firm recruiting efforts Product/Business Knowledge
Thorough understanding of the Corporate Executive client segment and its respective needs Thorough understanding of the Firm’s resources, products and its strategic partners Provide resources, solutions and direction in order to drive EWAS activity within EFS, Corporate Client Group (CCG) and the Firm Direct advisors to the appropriate resources to make the sales process more efficient Effectively apply product/business knowledge to prospect/client meetings Sales/Marketing Drive national EFS/EWAS education and activity Build strong relationships with Stock Plan Directors, Reinvestment Partners, EFS Directors, Family Wealth Directors and MS PWM, along with strategic partners to achieve the marketing objectives of EFS Coordinate national professional development programs Develop and update annual business plan
Team Building Engage Wealth Management, CCG and EFS personnel in the strategy and implementation of all EWAS initiatives, including professional development, thought leadership, and business development Assist in developing FA partnerships to realize the full potential of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Financial Advisors and maximize client opportunities
Skills Required: Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred At least 4 years of experience providing analysis/solutions and working with Financial Advisors
Licenses and Registrations Active Series 7, and 63, 65 (or 66) CFA, CFP, CPA, CIMA, MST, JD preferred
Skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to interact with senior management team, Financial Advisors, clients and corporate and field personnel as needed Ability to own projects at a national level Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and complete projects
