Position Description:
Candidates for this position must have at least 2 years prior experience within a Tax Exempt Fixed Income Product. A compelling interest in the financial markets and excellent credit and analytical skills are required. The candidate is expected to collaborate with the businesses - Sales, Trading, Strategy and Municipal Finance. This fast-paced and intense environment requires an aptitude for analyzing and interpreting complex information from multiple sources in a timely manner.

Duties include:
Managing a book of odd-lot inventory consisting of several hundred positions
Providing liquidity and appropriate markets to the MSSB retail sales force
Partner with the municipal desk's sales team to market positions and ideas related to trade opportunities
Interact and respond to Financial Advisor community in order to facilitate business
Must be able to respond to directives as it relates to inventory and pricing of product

Self-motivated, innovative, hard working individual, who can handle changing priorities and multiple tasks in a timely fashion

Must be service oriented and a team player with the ability to work outside ones comfort zone
Strong time management/prioritization skills and solid judgment
Series 7 and 63
Working knowledge of Bloomberg, and familiarity with the ratings agencies
