UNIT DESCRIPTION:Come join the fun at the new Suttons Children’s HospitalSuttons Children’s Hospital provides specialized Pediatric Care from birth to 17 years of age. The hospital provides a unique family center care for our region: The facility includes; A 40 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Fully trained RN staff, two neonatalogists, 5 neonatal nurse practitioners, two parent rooming in rooms.A 16 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with open parent visiting, sleeping accommodations for parents. Fully trained RN staff, two Pediatric Intensivisits.A 22 bed Pediatric Unit with all private rooms, two play rooms, one for teens which provides computers, laundry facilities, meditation room and chapel. Three Pediatric Hospitalists provide 24-hour care to help supplement the staff pediatricians.Two specially-equipped surgical suites and designated pediatric recovery area, with two Pediatric Surgeons.Child Life ProgramPre and post natal teaching departmentTwo full time RN Educators , one for NICU, one for Pediatrics and PICUPediatric Specialists’ Out patient ClinicPediatric after hours Emergency Fast TrackNeonatal and Pediatric Air and ground TransportsCHRISTUS Health is committed to providing meaningful benefits for you and your family and to sharing with you the prosperity you help create.
