TPC Wire and Cable, a subsidiary of global distributor Premier Farnell plc (LSE:PFL), is a supplier of high performance electrical wire, cable and connectors.  Our greatest strength is our ability to provide quality cable and offer comprehensive solutions to difficult applications.
 
Our Engineering Department designs custom cables and assemblies.  These custom designs are based on the customers application specific needs.  Our Sales and Service Staff has on average 15 years of experience in the industrial wire and cable business.

TPC Wire & Cable is looking for a highly motivated Network Administrator.
 
Job Purpose:
To monitor, maintain, analyze, upgrade and support all information technology network and off-network systems and related software applications, including network devices, phone systems, servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, operating systems and network applications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage, monitor and support multi-site network for 100+ employees.
• Provide software and hardware level desktop support to internal customers.
• Conduct training for software and IT involved processes.
• Support daily network operations and issues and handle a variety of competing priorities.
• Manage, monitor and update network infrastructure.
• Analyze, design and recommend IT solutions to meet business needs.
• Develop and document system, network and security standards and environment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science related fields or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years IT network operations or network management experience in a
• 100+user LAN/WAN Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/XP environment.
• Microsoft Certification – MCSA, MCSE
• Strong interpersonal skills with internal customers and management.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter looking to make a difference.
• Able to operate with little or no supervision, yet be able to work in a collaborative environment with departmental managers and the IT team.
