NETWORK  ENGINEERS (Oakton, Virginia)

AT&T, Worldwide Premier Telecommunications Company is in search of highly qualified  and experienced  IP, MPLS, and ATM Network Engineer to support design, design documentation, factory testing, and network integration of a new IP/MPLS based LAN/WAN network infrastructure in a customer environment.  We need a skilled and experienced IP, MPLS, and ATM Network Engineer   to support design, design documentation, factory testing, and network integration of a new IP/MPLS based LAN/WAN network infrastructure in a customer environment.  General tasks include developing a MPLS network architecture, assisting network management architecture, documenting the architecture, developing test plan for factory testing and network integration efforts, conducting the actual testing effort, and developing network operation plan.  AT&T offers fantastic benefits, Dental, Matching  401k, Dependant  Coverage, and great growth potential.

Job Requirements

The position requires a current TS/SCI clearance, or current TS/SBI which can be upgraded to TS/SCI, and can take a CI scope polygraph. Prefer  BS/MS degree and/or three or more years of relevant technical work.  Work location is in the Northern Virginia / Washington DC metro area. Required Skills:  Should have knowledge or extensive knowledge in numerous areas of networking IP, IP/MPLS, ATM and SONET.  Should be familiar with IP/MPLS, L3/L2 VPN, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, RSVP, QoS, TE, ATM, and ATM PNNI.
