Join our team as a Network Engineer!
- Experienced Senior Cisco Network Engineer with solid background configuring and maintaining Cisco Routers, Cisco Catalyst Switches, Firewalls, and VPN Concentrators. Hands on experience configuring and maintaining Cisco 2800, 3800, 7000 Routers, Cisco Catalyst 3560, 3700, 4500 and 6500 Switches with heavy experience work with VLANs, Private VLANs. - Cisco CCNP with 5 to 7 years experience. - Experience with routing protocols and hands on knowledge and configuration experience with OSPF, Cisco EIGRP, Catalyst Switch Layer-3 routing, TCPIP Subnetting and Wide Area Network Protocols, HDLC and Frame Relay. Experience with MPLS a plus. - Hands on configuration experience with Cisco VPN Concentrators, Cisco VPN Client configurations. Configuration and maintenance support experience on Cisco PIX 3000 series Firewalls, - Solid experience with telecommunications installations, IOS Upgrades, Network Management applications and solid troubleshooting skills. - Responsibilities include repairs, and replaces faulty network communications equipment, development of network documentation, maintenance updates. - Experience developing network support communications, and network guidelines documentation under the direction of the Network Architect. - Experience with network cable installations, i.e., CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, Multi-Mode Fiber, Single-Mode Fiber, Patch Panels, Cable Management systems, equipment setup, system testing and servicing in order to meet project deadlines. - Monitors network interfaces and network status for early detection of network problems. - Maintains Network wiring closets, Data Center Cabinets, Cable Management, and setup of new equipment and reconfiguration of network equipment in the data center. - Prepares Network Change Request and Daily network performance reports.
Job Requirements
Requires a Bachelor s degree in area of specialty, or equivalent experience
BS Computer Science, Masters preferred.
