We are actively recruiting a Director of Social Media for our mid-town Manhattan client. Our client is expanding its digital brand recognition and requires a highly skilled Social Media Director. This client is seeing millions of unique visitors per month to its web properties and wants to develop a greater social media audience.
The right candidate for the job will have 5 + years digital media experience working for a fortune 1000 company. You should be comfortable establishing a strategic social media vision and incorporating social media with the company’s digital brands.
Requirements:
-Increase awareness and engagement across various social media platforms.
-Communicate and work with executive staff and various business units on the value and strategy of social media
-Work to create an audience, awareness and repeat engagement with today most popular social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn, ETC.)
-Work to create and set goals on monthly and annual web traffic.
-Develop a partnership with various social media platforms
-Manage and lead the in-house social media and promotions staff
With the increase of digital brand strategy and social media outlets our client remains focused on being a leader in its industry. Candidates should have a strong passion for the web and social media. A 4 year college degree and experience building a social media strategy is a must.
