Bakers Wanted

Bruegger’s bakes an authentic kettle-boiled bagel fresh from the oven all day!  The coffee is always brewing and the salad, soups and sandwiches are always available!  Our staff provides the friendliest service to ensure our guests love what they taste!

Currently, Bruegger’s is hiring talented Bakers to join the team for our Auburndale, MA bakery.  In this role, you’ll provide the best product possible to our guests!

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe and clean environment for team members and guests by:
  • Using correct procedures to clean the bakery, bake and slice bagels, and operate bakery equipment
  • Prevent accidents before they happy by identifying and correction safety hazards
• Prepare and produce enough quality product to ensure availability for each shift
• Provide excellent guest service that creates the raving fan
• Maintain all safety policies and procedures
• Leads by example and shares knowledge with new and existing team members
• Performs counter duties when needed
• Support and follow all marketing programs
• Adjust bake levels to account for promotional periods
• Help ensure the financial budget is met in terms of baking cost of goods

Job Requirements

• Successfully complete Bruegger’s Baker Training and Certification Program
• Ability to be on your feet for long period of time
• Required bending and lifting
• Comfort working with ovens
• Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests, co-workers and management
• Prior experience working in a kitchen is preferred but not required
