Office Manager/Executive Assistant to the President
Ground Pros Inc. a well respected landscape management company serving the greater Chicagoland area since 1992 is seeking an experienced office manager. This individual will assist the President and maintain the day to day office operations. The candidate must be extremely organized, detail oriented, have outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to provide a high level of client service skills. The person selected for this role will supervise and train branch administrators.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Executive Administrative Assistant to the President.
- Oversees the entry of all transactions regarding payable and receivables.
- Provides backup for functions performed by office staff such as answering phoned, contracts etc.
- Implements all company training database and GPS.
- Handles all IT/phone issues.
- Coordinates event planning.
- Handles all office purchasing and negotiates contracts with vendors.
Job Requirements
We Require:
- A team player that will support and cooperate with others.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a small business required.
- Great communication skills both verbal and written required.
- A Four year degree in finance, marketing or business required.
- A working knowledge of PC software and hardware, including the Internet and Microsoft Office applications required (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook).
- Bilingual/Spanish is desired but not required.
- Good organizational and project planning skills required.
- Proven quality and client service mindset required.
- Must be able to successfully lead a team of 2 people.
