Operations Manager
The Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in the development, operations, and profitability of all physical security services within the assigned geographical territory of the designated area office through the application of sound business, financial and human resources management practices.
Job Requirements
Candidates must meet the following basic qualifications for this position:
- Minimum 18 years of age or minimum age required by State
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Work experience showing aptitude for assisting in the operational management of a large semi-independent business enterprise
- Ability to meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Not use illegal drugs. You must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
- Be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
- Be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if you were in the military
Additional Considerations for Employment
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required, for this position:
- Associate Degree or above in business administration or law enforcement-related fields preferred
- Prior security-related experience in a multi-location environment
- Possession of one or more of the following:
- Law enforcement experience
- Service in the elite military forces (e.g., Navy SEALS, Delta Force, etc.), military police or combat arms
- Graduate of police/corrections academy
- Criminal Justice degree, Associates or higher
- Career military
