What you need for this position:

• Administer eye examinations to detect signs of injury, disease, abnormality and defects in vision
• Check for signs and symptoms of general health conditions
• Gives advice on visual problems and prescribes and fits glasses or contact lenses
• Recommend other treatments or visual aids where appropriate
• Managing staff, including dispensing opticians and clerical staff; supervising and training junior staff;
managing the retail aspects of glasses, contact lenses and other vision care products.

What is required for this position:

• Must have a Degree of Doctor of Optometry resulting from an ACOE accredited college of Optometry
• Must be proficient in spoken and written English (for direct patient care)
