The Educator will perform Quality review and provide feedback to ensure a high level of accuracy on all admissions. Maintains knowledge of current regulatory rules and requirements. Maintains knowledge of reimbursement requirements for all payers. Job Requirements
High School diploma. Successful completion of the core educational curriculum 'Excellence at the Front End' required within one year of employment. Three years hospital registration experience or a comparable position. Supervisory experience preferred; education experience a plus. Ability to develop, mentor and train Associates. Knowledge of basic medical terminology required.Certified Healthcare Access Associate through NAHAM required within six months of employment. Certified Patient Account Technician through NAHAM required within one year of employment.
