Job Description
The Patient Access Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising all aspects of the daily operations of Patient Access Systems. The successful candidate will plan, organize and direct business processes related to patient entry into multi-campus, multi-organization healthcare system including acute care, emergency, same-day care, psychiatric care, and provider based clinics. Access processes include, but are not limited to registration, scheduling, financial counseling, inpatient admissions, pre-certification, verification, and collection at time of service functions for Pre-Service and Time of Service Processing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field required.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience with healthcare accounts receivables or billing and collections required.
