Job Description
This is a brand new service Sodexo is managing for the SouthCoast system. The position will start at Charlton Memorial Hospital and eventually expand to include transport at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford Ma. These two Hospitals are approximately the same size and are located approximately 25 minutes apart. They are non Union hospitalsThe preferred candidate must have excellent training and customer service skills. The manager will be required to be available seven days a week until staff are properly trained in the transport function The scope of service and hours are as follows:.Scope of Services and Hours�Hours7 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.- 7 days per week � Overlapping shifts dependant of volume�Patient Transfers to and from required destination�Equipment movement, cleaning, and storage�Item movement to and from destinations � specimens, records, etc.�Hospitality focus on the Southcoast Service Priorities to patients and family membersoSafety, Compassion, Efficiency, Above and Beyond After starting this program as a 'manual transport system', this will be the first client in New England where Sodexo will be installing and using the latest transport tracking technology to manage the function. There will be regular interaction with our client. The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 1-yr of Patient Transport Experience in a healthcare environment.
Position Summary:
Responsible for the general management of Transport, Conceriege or Service Responce Center (SRC) services. At this mgt level, SRC is the centraol point of contact, hub of communications for 3 or more services. Senior most person assigned to the account
Basic Education Requirement:
