Currently we are searching for a PAYROLL TAX SPECIALIST to join our Human Resources team in Irving, Texas.

Key Tasks & Responsibility Area

·         Manage (with vendor) the processing of local, state and federal payroll tax filings and returns in accordance with applicable regulations, payroll policies and procedures accurately and in a timely manner for approximately 3,000 employees across the US

·         Maintain ADP GL system and assist accounting in reconciliation of GL accounts

·         Prepare W2cs and adjustmate entries

·         Inpat / Expat payroll

·         Research and resolve issues between various taxing jurisdictions (local, state and federal)

·         Research employee residence addresses, work locations and taxable gross when issues arise

·         Multi-worksite state reports

·         Assist with preparation of payroll reports for senior management

·         Develops new procedures and refines existing work methods to ensure highly successful and competitive payroll solutions

·         Maintains quality of data in HR systems, such as HRIS and/or payroll reporting system while maintaining confidentiality

·         Provide support by responding accurately and in a timely manner to all complex payroll inquiries and requests according to standard procedures

·         Implementation, delivery and continuous improvement of HR products and services

·         Special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

Individual Portfolio
Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years payroll tax experience in a high volume environment and solid knowledge of multi-state tax filing requirements. A degree or equivalent work experience is required.  In addition, you must have strong data accuracy and customer service skills; be energetic; accept and learn new tasks easily; be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously; work well within a team environment and have a positive attitude.  The candidate must possess excellent organizational, verbal, and communication skills.  Experience with ADP Payforce and SAP are preferred as is CPP Certification.

Scope
Exempt, Individual Contributor within a team. This is a professional support role with semi - routine tasks. Accountable for quality and accuracy of self and team output. Gathers relevant information to support problem solving and decision making while maintaining confidentiality.
