Job Description

Provides pharmaceutical care to patients in the Foote Hospital system.

• Demonstrates the ability to manage pharmacy distributive systems.

•  

  Demonstrates principles of pharmaceutical care by assuming responsibility for patient therapy outcomes.

•  

  To ensure achievement of desired patient and healthcare organizational outcomes, quality and promotes efficient utilization of resources.

•  

  Demonstrates the integration of regulatory, legal, and ethical decision making in professional practice.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of a B.S. in Pharmacy with a valid State of Michigan Pharmacist and Controlled Substance License.

•  

  Physically able to stand and walk for protracted periods.  Must stoop and reach, may need to pick up packages of up to 20 pounds. 

Works in a busy professional setting with frequent telephone and employee interruptions. Works in a hospital building with reasonable conditions relative to temperature control and exposure to hazardous materials.
