Job Description
As a member of our esteemed pharmacy team, you will have an important role in delivering quality patient care. In this position you will purchase and ensure an appropriate supply of medications while collaborating with physician office staff in the coordination of procurement of medications for patients. You will also process admissions, discharges and transfers, and promote timely delivery and proper storage on patient units. Contacting prescribers to verify any order that requires an intervention will also be essential. Qualified candidates will possess a relevant pharmacy degree, current registration with State Education Department and a valid license from the State Board of Pharmacy. This position submits 15 continuing education credits annually and must complete 45 hours/3 years of continuing education credits to remain licensed.
