Min Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent in related field and no experience required. Licensed or eligible for license in the State of Texas.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Directs the evaluation, development, coordination and implementation of physical therapy intervention to patients in order to maximize each patient's functional ability. Serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical and institutional standards while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and organization.
Work Schedule This position is day shift with some weekend work required.
Salary Range Minimum of $50,113 annually, commensurate with experience.
Specific Job Related Duties 1. Evaluate, treat and discharge planning to patients. 2. Participate in rounds, clinics and case conferences. 3. Monitor service delivery by support personnel. 4. Document patient progress in medical record. 5. Participate/assist in implementing new programs. 6. Delegates duties appropriately to physical therapy assistants and/or Rehab Aide. 7. Supervise students as requested. 8. Participate in Quality Assurance Program.
Preferred License/Certificate Licensed Physical Therapist
