We are a international multidisciplinary consulting engineering practice that succeeds through the individual and collaborative skills of its people. Our office is expanding and we are looking for a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer.

Job Purpose:
Duties include the production of co-ordinated detailed design specifications, written reports, site surveys, schedules etc. on a variety of projects The position requres extensive knowledge in both plumbing and fire protection systems.  The ideal candidate would possess the ability to run a project from start to finish.

• Degree in Mechanical or Plumbing and Fire Protection
• Between 7 and 10 years relevant experience - nothing beyond 12 years

Job requirements:
This post requires a candidate who must have:

• Confident, proactive character, able to take the lead in challenging situations
• Good communication skills, experience in dealing with other employees and external clients
• Ability to run projects successfully
• Good IT skills
• Preference is for an individual who is fully conversant with the working practices employed by consulting engineers
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and NFPA
• Corporate membership of a relevant institution
