Our client is seeking someone to apply technical expertise and project management experience to manage projects and schedules for the Application Development group. Assists staff in developing work plans, reviews and prepares budgets, projects milestone dates, and updates and maintains the SharePointTeamsite application. Seeking LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY.
Responsibilities:
- Meets with internal clients and/or the Applications Development Director or Manager to determine project needs and gather and document requirements.
- Communicates with clients throughout the development process to manage customer expectations, resolve issues, and provide project status.
- Proactively manages change in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans.
- Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule and budget, and communicates these to project team members; monitors/manages project production for compliance with schedule, budget and quality objectives.
- Schedules and coordinates project meetings with the project team, clients, and others involved with the project.
- Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools like MS Project and SharePoint.
- Tracks project milestones and deliverables and communicates status to the team.
- Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path.
- Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results, and troubleshoots problem areas.
- Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
