President
NTMA, the national representative of the custom precision manufacturing industry in the United States, is seeking a dynamic leader for the position of President. This position reports to the NTMA Chairman and will be located at NTMA Headquarters in Cleveland, OH.
Position Overview:
The President is responsible for providing leadership to NTMA through establishing clearly defined goals and actions plans which ensures the association runs smoothly while growing its membership and accomplishing its mission of helping member companies achieve business success in a global economy through advocacy, advice, networking, information, programs, and services.
Key performance objectives in order of priority are:
1. Effective management of resources to achieve strategic objectives and to maintain high performance and sustainable operations.
2. Leading and developing staff to provide high quality effective work to meet the goals of the association.
3. Ensuring the members’ needs are fully understood and exceeded so that association meets its growth and retention goals.
4. Providing oversight and support to subsidiaries so that they operate effectively achieving objectives and goals of the association.
To succeed as NTMA’s President you must have exceptional self-management skills and be a results oriented, self-starter with strong planning and organization abilities. The position requires the capacity to be answerable for personal actions and the abilty to quickly recover from adversity. The President must have the ability to organize and motivate people to accomplish goals while creating a sense of order and direction.
The successful candidate will bring knowledge of the market, high level management experience and have demonstrated success in: Operations Excellence, Budgeting and Planning, Staff Development and Training, Membership Attraction and Retention, Public Relationships and Oversight of Subsidiaries and Association Assets. College degree preferred.
