Job Description
Lead scientific investigations in analyzing solar energetic particle data; support planetary and heliospheric space missions in the area of energetic particles; develop and write proposals to support and grow an independent research program; collaborate with fellow scientists and engineers within the space science community; present results at scientific meetings; publish results of research in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Job Requirements
Requires a PhD in Space Physics or related fields and 8 years experience with the NASA space flight program. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Requires excellent communication and leadership skills, demonstrated publication record, and experience working in multiple flight hardware programs as instrument scientist. A proven record in designing new particle instruments is strongly desired.
