Position Description:
Positions in this function are responsible for planning, creating, and producing marketing communications/promotional materials to implement product marketing strategies and sales objectives. Coordinates activities involved in the preparation of advertising, sales promotion and publicity in support of the marketing of company products. Consults with product management, sales and internal/external organizations to develop and implement plans.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage high volume/high version direct mail campaigns, acting as the print and lettershop vendor liaison ensuring all aspects of program requirements are met
  • Work with enterprise on-line procurement system - Printellect
  • Create print, personalization and lettershop mailing instructions for procurement purposes
  • Experience with direct mail print vendors, including technical aspects and print methodologies for envelopes, commercial print, and forms printing
  • Experience with direct mail lettershops including a full understanding of personalization and lettershop equipment and capabilities
  • Project management experience managing multiple campaigns and efforts with competing priorities
  • Ability to create, update and maintain documents in both Word and Excel
  • Ensure all invoices are accurate and processed in a timely manner
  • Production traffic monitoring to ensure mail dates are met
  • Ability to travel overnight to perform on-site vendor visits, press checks and audits of work
  • Travel nationally up to 25% of the time to meet with vendors and other internal partners as needed
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop creative solutions to print and production issues
  • Ability to work within a team environment, yet have accountability for own body of work
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal team, internal departments and outside vendors
  • Postal knowledge including postal presort, NCOA, CASS certification and BMC/SCF
  • Knowledge of quality assurance/process improvement
  • Familiar with Medicare products
  • Other duties as required

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
 
Requirements:

  • 3-5 years print/production experience
  • 3-5 years experience managing vendor relationships/accounts
  • Project management experience
  • The ability to travel overnight
  • PC proficiency - word, excel and outlook at a minimum 

Assets:

  • Postal knowledge
  • Quality assurance/process improvement experience
  • Familiarity with Medicare health insurance products
  • Document management experience
  • MS project experience
