Current Opening for a Sanitation Leader for our Miramar, FL Manufacturing Facility
ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE hands on experience - Cleaning and Sanitizing in a FOOD Manufacturing Environment
JOB DUTIES
*Responsible for maintaining GMP’s and sanitary standards, from structural, equipment, and food safety aspectsResponsible for completetion and documentation of the Master Sanitation Schedule.
*Coordinates and verifies cleaning responsibilities for both Sanitation and Production employees.
*Responsible for leading and directing Sanitors with their daily job assignments.
*Performs Pre-Op inspections on all equipment, to verify cleaning effectiveness, sign-off and release back to Production.
*Conduct Sanitation Self-Audits with Management team along with Plant and provide Corrective Action support.
Job Requirements
SKILLS, EXPERIENCES and ABILITIES
*Able and willing to work a shift of 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. Some weekends and holidays. Will need to be flexible at times to meet the business needs.
*2 Years experience leading a team of Sanitors in a FOOD MANUFACTURING facility.
*Basic mathematical aptitude
*Prior training in AIB Food Safety Essentials and Food Processing Sanitation is preferred
*Must be able to lift at least 50+ lbs, able to stand on feet for the shift,able to be physically active and work on a ladder or at heights
*Must have working knowledge of all production equipment and the ability to disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment in sanitary manner.
*Must be knowledgeable in areas of chemical usage with a Food Manufacturing facility.
*Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish - verbal and written.
*Mechanically inclined
*Knowledge of proper Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) use as it applies to chemical usage.
