Job Description

Schweizer(`9s proprietary products include helicopters, fixed-wing reconnaissance aircraft, and unmanned aircraft vehicles. In 2007 we expanded our business model to include the Rapid Prototyping and Military Derivatives Completion Center (RPMDCC), which is branded Sikorsky HAWK WORKS @ Schweizer Aircraft. This facility serves as the primary completion center for all BLACK HAWK and Naval Hawk derivative aircraft, mostly for foreign military customers.

Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
* Lead and coordinate analysis related to BLACK HAWK, Naval Hawk or other Government programs.
* Analyze financial results to determine what operational improvements are required to meet or beat expectations. Track and report program efficiency utilizing various financial analysis tools including but not limited to: EVMS, EAC and % Completion.
* Product/Program Cost Analysis (`3 Provide financial and cost support for all manufacturing programs. Analyze part and/or program costs, assist in strategic sourcing decisions, assess vendor and shop tooling spending requirements, identify scrap/rework root-cause, identify and track cost reduction opportunities, and establish part target costs to support program cost objectives. Provide ad-hoc product cost data and reports as required by various customers including respective Program Office, Purchasing, Planning, Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations Part Centers. Assist Program Financial Analysts prepare and report monthly analysis reports, which compare actual cost versus target cost for parts, and manufacturing centers. Facilitate program (`cfront-to-backs(`d to identify cost reduction initiatives to achieve program targets.
* Special Projects (`3 Contribute on a variety of teams and/or independent assignments designed to simplify/streamline the part costing/targeting process and/or program cost reporting.
Lead pricing and estimating analysis for new business pursuits.

Job Requirements

BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance with 6-10+ years of relevant experience or
MA/MS degree with 4-7+ years or relevant experience * Experience in Government contracts is a plus but not required.
* 8 + years exp. in Finance or Accounting capacity in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Strong analytical skills, and solid business acumen
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to interact well with people at all levels of the organization and managing people
* Strong desire to make positive changes and develop process improvement initiative.
* Strong skills working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, MS Access, SAP and Hyperion.
