Our growing Cortland Cable business unit is adding a Program/Project Manager to the team. 

Responsibilities include:

• Manage subcontractors in the defense and other markets.
• Direct and coordinate efforts of sub-contractors and Cortland Cable engineering staff to achieve the development of a next generation upgrade of an existing products. 
• Act as Project Leader to schedule tasks, collect data, and prepare briefings on the results of the project. 
• Interface with high level defense industry contacts, along with customers in other markets.

Job Requirements

• Master’s Degree and at least five years of specialized experience, or Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of specialized experience planning, organizing and coordinating of programs through ensuring work products meet contract requirements
• Experience ensuring that all contract activities are conducted in a logical, comprehensive, and cost effective manner.  
• Experience in fiber-optics or related products.
• Experience with government contracts, is familiar with government FAR’s, is adept at managing sub-contractors, and capable of scheduling and preparing reports
