Terremark is a leading global provider of utility-enabled managed IT infrastructure solutions built on the industry's most robust and advanced operations platform. We are scouting for a Project and Capacity Manager to join the team in the future.
The Project and Capacity Manager will be responsible for overseeing major projects and programs as assigned by the Service Delivery leadership team. Within this scope, essential duties include but are not limited to collaborating with management, technical leaders and Customers to establish project vision, scope and risks; identify key milestones and associated deliverables; and to identify tasks, owners and committed delivery dates for each milestone. You are also responsible for tracking ongoing progress of each assigned project and ensure it remains on schedule and on budget. You are further expected to document and maintain up-to-date project plans for each assigned initiative; and prepare regular summary reports for each project you lead.
You are expected to stay current and proficient on emerging technologies through self-study and internal training, and meet all internal certification standards for skill sets identified within the realm of responsibility.
**Must be available for occasional after-hours work should the need arise. **
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates MUST possess the following:
Technical Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years IT industry experience.
- ITIL Foundations knowledge with an emphasis on Capacity Management
- Strong technical knowledge in one or more areas: enterprise level hardware, telecommunications, optical or IP networking, operating systems or applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with large corporate environments/infrastructures
- Strong working knowledge of Internet networking technologies and principles
- Experience in administrative/support capacity maintaining high availability systems
- Experience with moving/migrating systems and data
- Proven ability to absorb, master and leverage emerging technologies
Soft Skills & Experience

Academic Credentials
