AAA is offering an excellent career opportunity to join our Las Vegas office as a Property & Casualty Insurance Sales Agent We offer outstanding benefits at AAA NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, NEVADA & UTAH including matching 401K and pension plan! Generates sales of AAA products and services through independent solicitation of new insurance policies and auto club memberships. Maintains contact with existing accounts during the year by responding to questions from insureds and making contact with insureds to renew existing accounts. Provides sales services to walk-in customers. Processes enrollment and renewal paperwork. Main Responsibilities: - Solicits new auto club memberships and new insurance policies.
- Generates leads and responds to leads from other sources.
- Provides sales assistance to interested parties, including mailing policy information and providing rate quotes.
- Qualifies new policy holders based on underwriting guidelines.
- Completes application materials and submits materials for approval.
- Cross-sells products.
- Renews existing insurance policies by contacting insureds by telephone, confirming policy information and securing approval to renew.
- Informs insureds of changes in policies or premiums.
- Services existing accounts throughout the year by responding to insureds' questions regarding policy status, premium amounts, or other issues.
- Makes changes to coverage as directed by insureds.
- Services walk-in business at the sales counter as assigned.
- Answers questions regarding AAA insurance and membership programs, directs customer questions to other departments when appropriate, distributes product literature and provides information.
Job Requirements
Required: - Successful Sales experience
- Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Persuasive interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Mathematical skills needed to complete a high volume of forms correctly and calculate rate quotations accurately.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills needed as well as ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have command of the English language and must be able to express oneself effectively, in person and over the telephone.
- Must display interpersonal skills and be able to interact with members, employees and others in a professional and tactful manner.
Preferred: - Bachelor's Degree.
- Valid Automobile Operator's License.
- Acceptable driving record, if licensed.
