Job Summary:

Property Managers are responsible for the overall performance of the community, financially, aesthetically, and in-resident relations. The Property Manager is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the management office and leading the on-site team and ensuring the community is operating within all laws and company policies.

Responsibilities:
The basic job functions are as follows, but not limited to:
  • Ensure leasing and occupancy goals are being met
  • Responsible for Outreach Marketing
  • Complete lease/renewal paperwork
  • Build and lead a strong team
  • Explain lease information to the client
  • Enter results data into a computer system on a daily basis
  • Inspect apartments and property
  • Oversee resident and employee relations
  • Ensure maximum occupancy
  • Control expenditures and ensure spending is done within budget
  • Maximize income
  • Business Management
  • Supervise staff
  • Ensure property goals and deadlines are met
  • Liability Management, Owner Communications and Reporting
  • Resident Communications
  • Ensure files are in full compliance with all policies and regulations
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours/days/weekends/locations
  • Monitor market conditions

  • Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year as a Property Manager with a minimum of 150 units
  • Marketing knowledge and experience
  • Must be professional, organized and detail-oriented
  • Affordable experience a plus

  • Other Considerations:

  • Strong computer knowledge of Word, Excel as well as Internet Explorer
  • Knowledge and comfort with Windows XP
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, writing, management and leadership skills
  • Proficient in math
  • Understanding and experience with a wide range of property management/accounting software
  • Budgeting experience
