Healthcare services include inpatient programs, medically supervised detoxification, individual, group & family therapy, and twelve months of free aftercare services.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Nursing Supervisor, functioning in a nurse managerial capacity, assumes clinical supervisory responsibility and supportive administrative functions for an assigned shift. In assuming a leadership position, the Nursing Supervisor serves as a role model by providing high quality patient care, as well as delegating nursing care. The Nursing Supervisor monitors clinical practice of the nursing team and maintains nursing standard, and receives direction and supervision from the Chief Nursing Officer. The Nursing Supervisor actively participates in leadership functions, and acts as a liaison between medical staff and nursing/clinical staff to design and provide patient care and services. Will assess the work environment to ensure that the activities of the employees, our physicians, the hospital administration and our relationships with our business partners in the community are in full compliance with all relevant laws, standards and federal reimbursement guidelines.
**This posiition is Per Diem with the potential of moving to full-time.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: B.S.N. required from an accredited school of nursing. RN license in the State of Florida.
Experience: A minimum of five years of practice experience, and three year’s experience in the supervisory position in an acute psychiatric or substance abuse setting is required.
Additional Requirements: Current CPR certification, C.P.I. or comparable training within 60 days of employment, and successful completion of Code Green, including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint, within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in a restraining process. Must pass a medication administration exam and complete a basic developmental competency exam.
